A sculpture that gives warmth
The JC Bordelet Tatiana 997 is a suspended central fireplace with simple lines and a shape that narrows towards the ceiling. Its matt black finish contrasts with the timber floor and light walls, and the fireplace becomes the point where the eye rests. At the same time, it leaves the view through the windows and movement around the room free.
JC Bordelet is a French maker known for its suspended fireplaces. Tatiana comes with a redesigned closed firebox for a cleaner, safer fire.
A closed fire, visible from across the room
The glazed, closed firebox keeps the flame inside and makes the fireplace more efficient than an open fire. This version of Tatiana is non-swivelling: it is set in the position that gives you the best view from the sofa and the table.

What to plan before installation
- Ceiling and flue: the fireplace is carried by the flue running up to the ceiling, so the ceiling structure and flue route must be checked from the start.
- Hearth below the fireplace: according to the manufacturer's guide, a non-combustible hearth about 1.77 m in diameter and at least 40 mm thick is placed under the fireplace.
- Distance from walls: at least 750 mm from walls made of combustible material.
- Room height: a suspended fireplace works best with high ceilings and open spaces.
